How to Prepare Better Artwork for Edible Printing

Better prints begin with clean source files. Images repeatedly forwarded through messaging apps often lose detail and show visible compression artifacts.

Send the original file

Use the highest-resolution photo or logo available. PNG works well for a transparent logo, while a high-quality JPEG is generally suitable for photography.

Check before uploading

• The main subject is sharp and not covered by text.
• Faces have space around the edges.
• A logo has sufficient contrast.
• Spelling, dates, and numbers are final.
• You have permission to use the image.

Plan for the cut shape

Artwork for a circular area needs safe space in the corners. Keep important words away from the edge because that area may be trimmed during fitting.

Describe the desired result

State the final size, shape, print medium, and whether the file needs cleaning or rearranging. These details determine the editing work required.

Keep one approved version with a clear filename. Avoid sending several revisions without identifying which one is final.
